I like this location! it may not have some of the bells and whistles of other stores, but always an enjoyable visit. Small but good hot food area and the soups are always yummy
Wegmans is a staple of upstate N.Y.... Best grocery store I've ever been to in my travels. And travelers agree, they've never been to a 1 stop grocery like it. There is a good reason Wegmans is branching out, and if you haven't been, all you need too do is stop by to figure it out.
This is a convenient one stop shop but they do not have quite as much stuff as the Canandaigua Wegmans!
Disgusted by the continually filthy checkout lines. If you ask to have them cleaned you are looked at in dismay due to a lack of understanding that people don't want to put their food on the filth, and then a slow response to fix the problem. The new layout is not intuitive or convenient to use. The big bulk quantity signs also block the signs that tell you what is in an isle. Tired of the Wegman's death spiral. Walking in circles over and over just trying to find what I'm looking for. I've lost count of the times I find the space for the product I want only to be looking at an empty shelf. Many of the mushrooms the other night were way beyond selling time-shriveled and slimy looking.Those packages of brown bacon with reduced prices on them. Nauseating. Finally the suspect chicken that is fresh not frozen was frozen, looked very old and was tough upon cooking! Oh, and there was that time I bought fresh scallops to open them at home and wow did they stink. Sure, right take the bad stuff back- but too tired to go back into the spiral. The hassle at the CSD- the do you have your card police. That is what they are concerned about not why I brought something back. In the end Wegman's doesn't care because people just put up with it!
